Banner Health Reports & Reviews (1)

My wife received an email about a job application she submitted to Banner Health through Indeed, I believe. The first red flag we noticed was that she didn't remember applying for this position, but she has sent out so many applications over the past couple years that she thought it could have been possible she applied for this job. Anyways, she is told to click on a link to speak to the Chief Information Officer of Banner Health over Skype as a first round interview. The interview lasted over 2 hours and seemed legitimate, although it was solely text based (no phone call or video call). Next, the scammer (using the CIO's real name and profile picture), congratulates her on getting the job and is told to await an email from HR with instructions for next steps. She is then asked to print out a page within a 6 page document and sign/date and send it back to HR with a scan of her driver's license. That's where we finally stopped and started looking into the red flags we were noticing but were too excited to believe it could actually be a scam. There were 3 email addresses in total used in communications, all of which ended in "@gmail.com" or "@hrbannerhealth.com", both of which were confirmed fake with Banner Health HR. Thinking back over all that has happened, we should have been more cautious and asked more questions.
