Bank of America (posing as) Reports & Reviews (1)

A potential email scam involving Bank of America. About every other week I receive an email from what appears to be Bank of America expressing their concern over possible fraudulent activity in my account. So they go on to say 'in order to protect my privacy' I must fill out the attached form and return to them. Now the attached form asks for every piece of personal information you can imagine-- Name, address, birthdate, SSN, Mothers maiden name, credit card numbers (all of them) and so forth. Ok I'm not an expert but I find it highly suspicious that a major bank would require this extensive personal information over email.

But what really clinches it for me as fraud is that I have not banked with Bank of America in 15 years, so I have no current accounts with them. Consequently I would never pass along my personal detailed information to them. So I highly doubt this is Bank of America. Also there is no phone no. in the email to call for an inquiry.

I've been wondering how to report this officially. I'm thinking B of A would like to know that someone is using their company and logo for fraudulent means.
