On March 12, I uploaded furniture to sell on Facebook Marketplace. I was contacted by someone under the name of Paula, who asked to purchase the items. They were being sold for $150. She asked me for my phone number, sending me a screenshot stating that she would need an email to send the funds. I gave her my email and later was contacted by someone under the phone number I provided. While I was on the phone with this person, I was receiving emails by “Zelle” stating that my account had to be a business account and extra funds had to be paid. It was back and forth, and before I knew it they had taken two $500 dollar payments. I contacted my bank the same day this happened, and later received a denial because they said I authorized those payments, when they was not the truth. I will upload the documentation of the scan.
