I received a call from an individual claiming to represent a bank fraud department. She claimed that I owed a debt and threatened to pursue legal action if I did not pay. She asked if I wanted to take care of the debt over the phone. I do not reveal my personal information over the phone. A real debt collector would contact me in writing. They also left me a VM. She would not tell me the smount of debt owed, she said that she would connect me with their attorney about this matter- strange.
