Getting numerous calls from this number stating my card had even blocked. Call 815 318 7602. I made a mistake an called because my card had been declined. They asked fir my card #. Exp date CBC then ss#! then I a light dawned. Too much info requested by

Hung up an called bank. Cancelled card

I received a call on May 8th, 2021 from someone telling me that they were from BancorpSouth, whom i bank with. Apparently this person knew all my information...phone number, name, account numbers, social #, online banking username, etc. They informed me that they saw some fraud on my account down in Florida and asked me to confirm the transaction to which i said was not authorized by me. They in turn said they would shut down my debit card and issue a new one. Then they asked me to confirm receipt of a text to let them know if i am receiving texts from them...so I did by replying yes. Later that day, i realized my account had a deduct for $2500 through Zelle. Its important to note that i have never set up any account or used Zelle for any purpose. Apparently the scammer took my information and authorized a transaction through Zelle to some lady named Diana Davis out of Florida...so the zelle transaction said. I looked at my emails on Monday the 10th to only realize that this scammer apparently set up a Zelle account for me because it sent me an email confirmation. I notifed my bank, Bancorpsouth, on May 10th and they said they would investigate. I received a letter from Bancorpsouth on May 17th 2021 to which said they found no fraud and were closing the case. Its important to note that from the time I notified Bancorpsouth to when i received the letter, it was 7 business days. There is no way that is sufficient enough time to do an investigation considering they had to send the letter out by the 14th to get to me by the 17th. This is not doing your due diligence as a Bank. I want my money back. I want the Bank to do their due diligence and not blow this off. I want justice. Please help!
