Company contacted a member of my credit union via phone to invest money in cryptocurrency. Member gave company remote access to their computer where the company logged into online banking, and transferred funds from a savings account to a checking account. The company stated that these funds were from an international wire (this was a lie) and that the member needed to wire them the money (almost $50,000.00) for investment. The company was aggressive and threatened legal action if the member did not comply which is a popular tactic amongst scammers. The company never sent money to the member, nor do I believe they ever had the intention to invest for them.

I used to have a regular Binance account for about 4 years and never had any issues until recently when the changes happened and they had to create a separate Binance exchange just for their US customers. So I went ahead and created a new account on Binance.US a couple weeks ago and transferred roughly $150,000 worth of Crypto Currencies onto the Binance.US exchange. I was able to trade freely for over 10+ days straight without any issues whatsoever. But then on April 23 at approx 1am when BTC dropped under the $48k price and a bunch of selling activity occurred, all of a sudden my account became frozen and I cannot sell or buy any of my current positions and on top of that they will not allow me to withdraw my funds off of their exchange. Every time I tried to make a trade or withdraw my funds a pop up window would appear saying "your documents have been received and are currently being reviewed." When I tried to withdraw my funds off of the mobile app the pop window would say "Verification Pending" and not allow me to withdraw. Which none of that makes any sense as I have screen shots of all of my trading history from the last 10 days before where I was able to trade freely without any issues whatsoever and now all of a sudden I cannot make any trades until I am verified?! They are still currently holding my money hostage and this seems like some very criminal behavior or very unethical to say the least. I have tried to reach out to their support group for help multiple times and all I receive back is a general automated response. I have left many messages on their social media platforms and whats funny to me is that they took the time to block me off of their Binance.US twitter page but didn't have the time to fix the error on their platform and release my funds back to me. Unfortunately I am not the only one who has experienced this problem with this company. There is literally a trending hashtag on Twitter called #BinanceHell which has many similar stories on there about people having the same issues with this company. All I want from them is to allow me to regain access to my funds and unfreeze my account so that I can stop the bleeding and liquidate my positions, as this has caused me to lose thousands of dollars in just over a 24hr period and it continues to bleed me out currently until this problem gets resolved. I will be seeking some legal recourse for the emotional and financial damages they have cause me if this is not resolved immediately, and I am going to start working on putting together a class action lawsuit against this company as they are a MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR company and to have these kind of serious problems and screwing over so many of their customers is simply unacceptable! My Brother is an Attorney and I have already informed him on the matter at hand so if this is not resolved soon then we will have no choice but to escalate the situation and become much more vocal on all of the social media platforms until this issue gets resolved. I will attach a screen shot below showing that I initially was able to trade freely until this incident occurred 24hrs ago.
