Received an email to interview for a job. Responded to email that I would take the interview. Was instructed to download "Wire" to communicate with HR and supervisor. No phone call was made, interview was all through messaging on the Wire app. This person was very well spoken, professional, and fun. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Next day job offer was waiting in my email. I accepted job offer and was forarded a contract (on business letterhead) and W4 form to read, fill out, and send back with a copy of my drivers license. All this formal.paperworled looked real and so i filled it out and sent all info back. At this point i still had not been contacted on the phone to speak with an actual person. I knew then it was a scam. I froze my credit and thank the lucky stars that i didnt finish the onboarding process.
