Got a call from someone named Shane Richardson about back taxes (I owe none) with a return number with a 201 area code, but the original call came from a local area code (219). Voicemail sounded like a recording.

I received a call from someone claiming to be Shane Richardson from Back Tax Filings LLC about two back tax filings which I do not. Furthermore he stated this is a “notification call about your back tax debt that must be settled before the end of the month we have received a notice that your debt must be settled before the end of the month and if you call today we can possibly help you avoid any wage garnishment.”
