I ordered firesafe blankets from babycaramel.com. I was told that the blankets would ship within 3-5 business days. When I attempted to get the status on the shipment, there was no tracking number. Therefore, I contacted Baby Caramel via email because there is no phone number listed. The response I received was evasive and the person that responded (Ian) said that it usually takes 3-5 days to ship, but it could take as long as 3-5 weeks. I told him to cancel my order. He responded with I could not cancel my order after 24 hrs of placing the order... although there was no ship date in sight. They could not deliver, but they could not cancel the order. I could not get anywhere with him and could not reach anyone else. I contacted my credit card company and filed a fraud claim. I will not lose my money because I used a credit card that is fraud protected, but the hassle of dealing with a fraudulent website based company is frustrating and time consuming.
