My complaint falls right under the other complaint. Everything was the same for me as well except I didn't previously know the individuals. I was offered a job, and after accepting I was asked to invest in the company and I would receive it back after 30 days of work. I was asked to invest $1000 but I only had $700, they took it and said they would cover the rest. I was given the same exact run around, continuous excuses, would show up to sites ready to work and no one would be there, finally after a month of not being paid I started confronting them on all their lies. They continued to make up more lies, I eventually "quit" and requested my investment back. After weeks of excuses they claimed they mailed me a check and someone else cashed it... haven't heard back from them since!!!

My husband was offered a job and was told he would need to make a $1,000 deposit that would be refunded after 90 days of employment or if he quit.
