clicked on innocent website and a message came up that Apple had locked my computer due to a trojan. Another message came up to call Apple at once and it gave a number. They say they are Apple and recommend Azure Protection for us and give a phone number to call. When you call this number they tell you that your Apple protection is not valid and you pay $229.99 to activate this and then they ask to get into your computer to wipe the trojan. We let them in and depend on them to help us. Finally realizing that what has happened, since Apple will never recommend a company like Azure for protection, we had the computer wiped and changed all credit cards and bank cards as well as passwords. Now this Azure Protection keeps calling saying they are going out of business or that there is a problem with our e-mail and they want back into the computer. One agent said that they will refund my money if I let them put a refund notice for me to fill out into my computer. One agent told me that he likes scamming Americans because I confronted him on the phone and told him I knew that they were doing. I have lost my money and hope that no one else falls for this.
