Type of a scam Employment
After a simple application, someone followed up with a brief call which I thought was just a recruiter/assistant scheduling the actual interview. Then, mr.paulmiller@axistechnology .org followed up with an email saying I "performed very well in the telephone interview." This is where I started to get skeptical, not just because the interview was a 2 minute call, but the address used is the Three World Financial Center/American Express Tower and the official website does not exist.
When I signed in to axispanel .org to see what information I needed to fill out, they asked for all sorts of confidential information (bank account, social security, etc.) before I even met a manager or received an official letter of hire. That's when I was sure that this was an elaborate scam to catch those unemployed affected by the pandemic.
Also, the only customers who reached out to them via social media demanded answers as to why they were scammed
