My wife wanted to pay our Auto Insurance premium to GEICO as usual online on March 17th. But GEICO was not opening the payment portal. She waited for code to open the payment portal which never happened. The website then showed a number to talk with customer service. A person answered as a representative of GEICO. So, with a request to pay the premium and even an adjustment to the total, the payment was made. Yes, an email was sent to confirm the payment as GEICO authentic website will do. Then, GEICO called to warn us about letting our auto insurance lapse. No, my wife said. The payment was made on the 17th. GEICO did not receive any payment at all they said. New payment was made to keep our coverage current. The Credit Card company did confirm that there was no payment to GEICO on record except two separate entries by same business (awesome business group) for the total of the lumpsum paid. We have now disputed the payment. All our phone calls to the 833-251-8444 remained unsuccessful. So are other numbers for the business available online........ 860-619-2026 and 808-271-6374.
