I received numerous calls from this company stating they were calling from Medicare and were aware I had back pain. They had my name, age, address etc. said they recommended a back brace that would be free of charge. They started asking me for my medicare number, last four numbers of S.S. The “mood” on the phone changed when I began to say that I did not want it. The person said I should talk to her supervisor. When I continued to say no to the supervisor he became nasty and I eventually hung up on him. He continued to call back and harass me. My husband took the last call from him! I reported the incident to Medicare. After saying I did not want it numerous times I received it in the mail anyway. It is a large brace and I did not have the money to send it back. I just received a summary notice from Medicare. This company billed them on March 4, $1,388. Medicare paid $816 with a balance for my secondary insurance of $208.
