My parents were scammed by avianca airlines. We tried pre paying for the luggage a week before their flight and their system wouldn’t allow the transaction to go through. The price on the website said $35 and once my parents got there, they were charged 135 each. I think their website is purposely set up, to not let transactions go through, so they can rip off people in person.

I order an airline ticket from Avianca.com for $562. USD from Los Angeles to El Salvador. but when they charged it they got $675.00 .. when I called to complaint they said that I paid with sterling pounds money from UK .. i am in Usa ... the receipt shows $562. USD.. When I talked to the representative he said to make a claim for the difference.. but when they responded after making the claim . they say that my ticket was nor refundable.. so they took my money and the ticket canceled... they stole my money and they only returned $58.00 that they say is the taxes returned. please help
