Legal Action Debit

Avery agent called reference a case number and stated if I do not sign documents a legal action would be filed at my local court house. Once the documents were sign an attorney would be assigned to the case. The called read off my DOB and the last four digits of my SS#.

Voicemail left stating I had a civil complaint

Person calling left a voicemail saying that They were trying to serve me legal documents and gave my address they said it was for a civil complaint and gave me a case number and said that he needed to call the law firm back at an 866 number and give the case number.
Now I don't have any credit issues, and I'm current on everything.

They called me and everyone I know within an hour period to threaten me with civil legal action for a medical debt that is not on my credit report. They said I needed to sign a document to open it to see the details. I haven’t given them any money. I don’t know how legally binding the document is considering there is no information on it except a dollar amount.
