Type of a scam Employment
"Our HR team at Avaneer Health, Inc. reviewed your resume in regards to your application for the Data Entry Clerk(remote) position with a pay of $25/hr. and we think you would be a good fit. If this is of any interest to you, an online job briefing and interview session would be coordinated via Wire App. You are required to email the HR ([email protected]) for details on how to proceedn with the online job briefing and interview process."
At first I thought it was legitimate, however the fact that they were requesting a Wire App interview was suspicious as was the spelling error, so I searched for the company using Google. None of the job listings the actual company posts include Data Entry Clerk. I figured maybe what the heck? On my PC, I went to type out the email address to email the company as requested and realized that the email address they wanted me to contact is spelled incorrectly (added an r). When I contacted them to say that the email address is spelled incorrectly and to get a corrected email address, there was no response. Bullet dodged.
