My daughter signed paperwork and gave a cashier's check for a vehicle for $15k then we were told we couldn't drive it home because it hadn't passed emissions. It was dropped off the next day in worse condition than when we left it. 18 miles later the engine seized. We later found out that it had been SUBMERGED in a flood and not repaired.
