This was a scam to put a sticker on your car and get paid for it. "Auto-wrap Promotional Program" They sent a 12.5x9.5 Priority Mail 2 day envelope with the return address: Lowe's Home Imporvement, 1411 Misty Glen Lane, Dallas, TX 75232. The USPS tracking#: 9405 5036 9930 9405 4638 39. The check inside was from UTHealth Tyler, P.O. Box 6400, Tyler, Texas 75711, Disbursement Account. Date 6/15/2020 Check number: 758967. Southside Bank, Tyler, Texas The check was for $3600.00. Signature is unreadable. Bank numbers are: 758967 11923607 1282514. A note with the check says: "Dear Sir/Ma. Enclosed is the payment for the Auto-wrap Promotional Program. Text to me the below information as soon as you receive the payment: 1. Your Name 2. Check Number 3. Amount on the check You're required to text/email aforemention details to [email protected]/385-272-4523 immediately you received the payment for further instruction and payment authentication. Thank You." They also sent several texts asking if the package arrived.
