Telemarketer from 775 361 4738 called on October 25, 2018, 10:30 AM. My car warranty was about to expire, and if I wanted to renew it, I had the one time opportunity to renew on credit card. The requirements: less than five years old and less than 100,000 miles on the car. The solicitor claimed that the database identified me as one customer referred by a major auto manufacturer.

The solicitor did not know what make of car, model year, or when sold. My car is a 1990 Ford Aerostar, with 297,000 miles on it. It is more than five years old by almost two decades.
