I recently purchased a new car. A few weeks after my purchase i received a pink slip in the mail that warned me that my auto insurance would be expiring by a certain date. I already have car insurance through USAA and my warranty through my manufacturer. I would not have a need for this kind of extra insurance. This company knew my mailing address, name, phone number, and had my debit card information. They charged my checking account roughly $***. I have filed a fraud claim with my bank and I am in the process of getting my money back from this shady, scammy company. I did not authorize any of my information to be used for insurance with this merchant. I would like to warn others who are receiving pink slips in the mail to call the company and tell them to lose your information and to have your bank do a security closure on their card as a preventative measure.
