Bought vehicle signed contract drove home lie bumper traffic couldn't open up on highway parked car let my son use car to go to Boston drove 3 miles check engine light came on I didn't think it was bad when he gave me car back had code checked code p0420 #1 cat converter not working dealer notified told come in they would check it I called service make an appointment told me as is sale so not safe to drive finace company same Wells Fargo I'm stuck with a car note 18,187.04 I'm a retired ford tech 43 years went to dealer ford they did full elec diagnosis found check engine light code p0402 cleared 15 times before I bought it last time cleared the day i purchased they cleared code to make sale more diag all issues with safety concerns stay in PCM, so further diag shows code in PCM started when car only had 63994 miles vehicle history shows it but never repaired now abs light on airbag light on can't drive car was never nys inspected sticker on car is march bought in 6/29 22 have papers from ford they wiped out codes to make sale cost to fix one concern about 6,000 need help
