Responded via text to an advertisement on Craigslist regarding French bulldog puppies for sale. I was responded to within the next business day with one of their available puppies. They sent me pictures & videos and I was quoted a price of about $850.00 via Moneygram, which included shipping costs and home delivery. I signed a Contract of Sale and was sent a verification email for a flight indicating the puppy was on its way. I was then emailed another indication that I would have to pay another $1370 for insurance for the puppy, which I refused the pay. Once they started demanding more money, I requested to back out of the transaction and they did not send my money back. They stopped answering after I pressed.
