I was in search of an Australian Shepherd puppy and this site had adorable dogs, so I sent an inquiry. They texted me the following day giving me details about all vaccinations, house training, etc. and that she was available ASAP. I started the payment process directly, and then was told I would receive shipping information. Which I did and then was told of an insurance fee that the "breeder" was unaware of. So I figured you would need insurance to ship an animal. After that I assumed all the fee's were over, wrong. After already receiving my payment for the dog and the insurance, they then decided to tell me there would also be a USDA fee to ship such a far distance. I knew then something was fishy and told them they needed to refund me for the dog and the insurance and I would take my business elsewhere. They then threatened me by saying I would be fined if I did not pay the USDA fee as I would then be abandoning the "dog." I was scared, this "fine" was more than I could afford. So I paid the minimum fee and haven't heard back since. No puppy for me, but all the money they could possibly hoax from me, for them.
