I bought a purebred puppy online for $800, plus $150 shipping fee. The website appeared legit, but the puppy was never sent. The “home breeder” Carlton Borders asked me to Zelle payment to him at [email protected] and he would ship the dog the following day, but the next day I received several emails & phone calls from a bogus “Pet delivery company” threatening me unless I paid an additional $1500 for “Flight Insurance, fully refundable upon delivery of the puppy”. That company’s email and phone is [email protected] 580-352-7502. I knew that was a scam & texted Carlton, telling HIM to pay the $1500. He sent many texts and emails to calm me down and said that he would pay half if I paid half. I no longer trusted him, but thought maybe there WAS a chance that my puppy was waiting at the airport for shipment to me, so I paid $750 extra. Nope! No puppy! Big scam. Both companies are Fraudulent Scams.
