I applied for a project management job for a company call Audit Review Consult Company. They promised to pay me for a month of training for their company. I even signed a contract with them for the month of training. Even went so far as to tell me that I would receive a project management certificate after completion of the training. I went through 2 weeks of the training and they told me I was doing so well, they were going to begin my next phase of training a week early. This training was working on an actual project for them. Part of the project was to be a "secret shopper" at 3 Apple Stores. The secret shopper thing through me off. I asked them how I would be buying things at an Apple Store and they told me they would pay off my credit cards and I would use them to purchase the "supplies" they needed for their business. I knew right then and there that this was a scam. I emailed them and told them that I didn't think they were legitimate and I never heard another word from them.
