Mathew had my name and phone number and called me claiming to be my attorney, when told I do not have or need an attorney he insinuated that I needed one then hung up. Phishing.

I called Hanger Law, 6/29/23 to ask if they had an atty who had experience in removing a squatter from my home. A***** S***** said, "Yes, Miss J**** does". She gave me appt for 7/3/23 at 12:30 p.m. and said she would send me link to pay the $250. fee. She sent confirmation of 12:30 appt for 7/3 on 6/30 and link to pay $475. ONLY. Could not contact her as they were closed so left voicemail message. No callback. Drove from Richmond to Newport News for this appt at 12:30 p m and was told that I did NOT have a 12:30 appt. Moved me out to the front, while argument ensued between J**** and A****** S. J****** moved me to conference room and yelled at me for coming here with NO appt. then rushed me OUT, which SHOCKED ME, as I tried to pick up my items, LEAVING my aqua LEATHER tote bag, filled with ALL papers on my river home. I called to ask them to return my aqua leather bag, but A***** said, "I'll have to check the warehouse", which sounded STRANGE. She STOLE it for herself, and I NEED my bag and my DOCUMENTS back. She lied about having it. She took it home with her; it was NOT in any "warehouse.". I FIRED that J***** and demanded my $475. BACK. She agreed to refund it, but I have NEVER received it. I filed a Police Report in Newport News on she and A**** S*****. NEVER have I been treated with such disrespect. Very disorganized firm. Then J**** wrote a DETRIMENTAL letter to the Judge, in my squatter case set for 7/14/23 so I would LOSE my case. She has severely DAMAGED my case, in order to GET HER REVENGE. TShe did NOT have experience in removing a squatter and I was LIED to by A***** S****. This firm is a SCAM, and they are DESPERATE for MONEY and will STEAL your personal property instead of returning it to YOU. WORST FIRM, EVER. They are a SCAM.

Received a mesage on my Instagram account from a friend who I follow saying there was a special program grant for older people that will help with bills, raising family members, etc. I texted the phone number. When I asked for more information they asked me what I needed and I said information regarding the origin of the program, website etc. I was told through the message in my Instagram account that I would not have to pay back the money and the person said they just received $30,000 so encouraged me need to apply right away and let me know what happens. I responded to the message through Instagram and asked if she had a name and the response was a Duncan Gadner. I did send a text message, not via Instagram, to my friend and she told me it was a scam and that she had received texts from other friends asking about this. Obviously is a scam, no money is free. I also searched the internet and found information on this scam and also sent link to scammer. He asked for my last nay which I did not give.

Grandson in accident. Hit a pregnant girl and is now in jail. Needs $1750 for bond. Attorney promised money to be returned in 7 days. Told not to tell anybody and say the money is for a wedding gift. Gave a fake name for grandson and they went right along with it and said he sends his love; , Money to be a western union wire , cash or debit card only to 620 main street, suite 204, watertown CT 06795. and to tell them that Thomas J Schneider would pick up the money. After money is sent to call 484 352 2964

Was called & told Granddaughter was in jail in Atlanta. I spoke to my Granddaughter who was upset. An Attorney got on the phone & said to send $2500 by Walmart money card to an address in Boston & she would be able to be bailed out of jail. My husband & I did this, & came to realize we had been scammed.

The voice message says: " I need you or your retained attorney of record to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. i am office Heather Gray from internal revenue service and the hotline to my division is 4154-877-1373, I repeat it's 415-877-1373. Do not disregard this message and do return the call before we take any action against you. Goodbye and take care"

Called claiming I was involved in a lawsuit and needed to pay money now to avoid legal repercussions.
