Called from several numbers. Was told phone and accounts were hacked. Gained access to phone through an app called “TeamViewer QuickSupport”, from that, they gained access to my laptop and installed a remote access program. Took over my computer and falsely showed me where and how I was “hacked”, then proceeded to go through all of my banking, purchasing, and credit card accounts. They told me they were securing them, when actually they were stealing my money by making dummy transactions in order to show that they were “secure”. They then had me purchase gift cards through those accounts and then give them the card numbers so they could run them and “secure” the accounts. While I was away from my laptop, they continued to hack and access all of the information on my laptop, including my bank account. They proceeded to drain the money from my accounts by doing transactions through “Zelle”.
