I received a call from a subject who claimed to be from AT&T/Directv. The person stated his name was Nick. Nick stated that I could receive a 50% discount on my Directv billing for the next 2 years. Nick stated that I needed to pay the first six months of billing which was equal to $100 in Ebay gift cards. I would need to go and purchase them and then call the AT&T/Directv billing department back at 18447685239 and give them the Ebay gift card numbers. And if I did this within 2 hours that I would receive a $100 Visa card. Later in the day, I received a second call from Nick at 18446640875. I advised Nick this was a scam and that I had contacted Directv directly and they had not heard anything about this special offer. Nick stated that they had many different locations and that not all were informed of this offer. I advised Nick to take my number off their list and not call again. I also advised Nick that this was a scam and that if they called again I would contact BBB. Nick advised that my service would be interrupted and that I owed a $450 penalty charge. Nick then hung up on me.

I am in process of cancelling Directv service and it is set to be disconnected 4/27/21. Received a phone call from someone at 580-609-4110 that imitated someone at ATT/Directv. They had access to my account at Directv and all my information. They were offering promotions to get me to stay with Directv. I was definitely part of a scam. I said yes at some parts, so that was likely recorded. I never gave any personal information though. I contacted Directv afterwards, and they verified it was not them that contacted me. Unsure if this will effect any loss in information down the road.

They issued a auth code DTV769019 and numbers to call 855-472-9007 ext #1 to obtain the pro,onion. After payment I would not receive a bill for the first 2 months Directv bill would be locked for 2 years at 24.99 instead if $60

They issued a auth code DTV78629D and numbers to call 855-472-9007 to obtain the pro,onion. After payment I would not receive a bill for the first 5 months and would not have to pay anything for the next 5 months and then my Directv bill would be locked for 2 years at 59.99.

This did not pass the sniff test so while on the phone with this party I/we used another line and spoke to someone listed from our bill. They quickly informed us this was a scam and asked we contact the approbate authorities and the BBB.
