This was the second part to a pet scam. After pet was "purchased" via the Dohmanweimaranerpups.com website, this company was to be the courier service used to transport the pet for shipping. They emailed a fake status update initially to confirm the pick up of the pet purchased, then and hour prior to the departure flight, they emailed that: "Your puppy was grounded by the (Pets Control department in collaboration with the Pets Transportation Security Administration(P.T.S.A) here for not using the adequate or proper crate for transportation contrary to the law protecting Animal Safety," and that they needed "United State Approved Electronic Crate and Anti Pressure Vaccines" before they could proceed with the delivery. Of course they gave several rental options that could be purchased with a down payment that would be fully refunded (minus the $40 vaccination fees) once the crate was returned.
