I work with a magazine company and i have been getting calls from elderly people saying they were sent a letter from this company and to send a check right away to avoid interruption. they do so, then they receive another mailing saying they need to send it immediately or it will go to collection. they never get the subscription renewed, most are losing $30-60 each time if not more. they are given an account number which is not correct, and they do not work with us in fact almost all companies dont make outbound calls, if you ever second guess please call your company directly!
