Phone message has my name on a recording stating that it would be in my best interest to contact them or have my legal council contact them. When you return the call they want you to confirm your name, social security number and address. Which I did not confirm, they then proceed to tell me that in the year 2009 I took out a payday loan, which I did not, and that I owe them money and a pending lawsuit is in my future unless I pay. They can not give you a date for the loan or the amount. They have called me in the past and said I owed something from 2010. So the years are also changing. 3 days ago someone from the telephone number 844-299-1650 called me named Rebecca and when I told her the call was being recorded, she hung up right away but first told me I couldn't do that. Today, someone named Scott from the same number called and I told him he was being recorded and he told me I couldn't do that and hung up. I called back, they sent me to a voice mail of someone named Stephanie King. I left her a message stating to never call me again and that I was recording. This is a scam trying to get money and I guess I'm wondering if this is also possible identity theft.
