Type of a scam Online Purchase
seller from who I had previously purchased a product from that same day. They said that my
payment method was invalid because the shipping address of my order did not match the
credit card that I had used to pay. I was then instructed to send payment to this person via a
Zelle phone number. The total transaction was $749.99. Due to daily limits, I sent $500 via
my Discover account and $249.99 via Wells Fargo to 4702573469. I found out immediately
afterward that this person had assumed a false identity. I have tried to call the number back
to retrieve my money but to no avail.
