Called, asked who I was talking to, the man stumbled over his words, in a heavy accent, answered, Thomas, I asked when the Westie puppies for sale were born, their birthdate, Thomas hesitated, stumbled over his words then hung up. I expected something like this since I ran a check on the business name and found PetScams.com Reported this business as a scam. Looking at the website, lack of consistency of photos of puppies as well as the lack of traditional information, location, proper references, no physical address listed, once again, not surprised. Asking $800 for all puppies. Too good to be true.

Contacted "seller" named "Atela Westies" about a $800 West Highland Terrier puppy on sale that I found through an internet search on 4/1/2020. Gave them my home address so that they could deliver the puppy and they asked for me to wire $950 for the puppy and for delivery fee as they are located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and I live in Cleveland, Ohio. The seller stated he would send me tracking information for the dog. I received an email from the "pet delivery company" named Prama Logistics who asked for a $1500 pet insurance fee that needed to be wired via Zelle (Chase bank that allows direct cash wires) that would be returned via cash upon puppy delivery the next day 4/2/2020. After not receiving adequate information regarding when the puppy would be delivered, I called the "seller" over the phone and realized it was the same African sounding voice (picture of the "seller" on the website was a Caucasian man) that had answered the phone when Prama Logistics contacted me asking that I send them confirmation screenshot of the cash wire transfer I had made via Zelle on Chase.com. At this point, I also realized that Prama Logistics had 2 different area codes for phone numbers for 2 different states on their website and that their address was for the sheriff's department in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Because I used their email address to send the money, I do not have any of either of the "companies" bank account information but do have the "contract" and email exchanges. I asked for flight details for the puppy's delivery and received no response; instead, I received an email the next day, 4/2/2020 stating that the puppy had not made it on the plane to be delivered because they had not received all the money. I am not responding.
