Type of a scam Tech Support
My reply: “You’re calling me about an upgrade?”
Scammer: “Yes.”
My reply: “I received no email or text regarding an upgrade.”
Scammer: “No you did not, goodbye.”
(Scammer did not request my name, security code or verify my phone number.
I contacted AT & T and verified it was a scam. This is not how the company conducts business regarding an upgrade of its system.

not give them any information. I did call AT & T and the 800-288-2020 was their legitimate number. I was informed that the perpetrators
(who had a foreign accent) were spoofing the number.
