I have my resume on Indeed, I got contacted by a lady claiming to be from AT Kearney. They offered me a position at their company for a work at home data entry job. She told me there were no face to face interviews as everyone is to busy these days. She told me they were giving me 150 dollars as a start up to use for whatever I wanted/needed. She also told me that the "rest of the funds" would be sent to a "financial advisor" so they could get me the equipment I needed for the job. IE..computer, phone, shredder,laminator. The next day I receive a cashiers check for 2300 dollars via FedEx. She then tells me to deposit this check through the ATM and to NOT GO INTO THE BANK as the ATM would be faster for the funds to become available. They needed a screenshot of the deposit receipt so they knew I put it in my account and they would issue funds 24 hours later. Trudy Stein does NOT work for this company and I am the 5TH person in the last week they have reached out to. BEWARE...SCAM!!!!! They did not want a face to face interview, and this company DOES face to face interviews. I called them! The "company" is in NY, the check came from Arizona bank and trust and the equipment was coming from California. I also asked about the laminator they said I needed. She told me it was for preserving documents and I would need it. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!!!!!! Luckily, I knew better and called the BBB. And the actual company and threw the check in the trash!
