I got scammed by theme i paid for the puppy winter and got an email from the shipping company asking for $950 more for a Temperature controlled crate and insurance and it would be refunded once i received my puppy. they said failure to pay would be animal abuse and stuff and that this was not the breeder’s fault. we called the company the email listed and they didn’t even have my name on file or any records of the puppy. then the guy got really upset when i mentioned my family thought it was a scam because he kept telling me to borrow money from family or friends when i told him i couldn’t afford the fee. i kept asking for my money back and begged him for my money back and he ignored me and made it to were i couldn’t request my money back anymore on cashapp. he scammed me out of $550 and tried getting $950 more that same day. he kept telling me he’ll hold the puppy till i get the money and i kept asking for my money back. i got my sister to pretend to be interested and see if he would try to sell the same puppy and he did. she said she’d come pick the puppy up and he gave the address to a veterinarian office and said he would behind the vet and there is other places behind it like physical therapy office. i haven’t been able to get my money back yet.

Saw golden retriever puppies on the website Astongoldenretrievers.com. Contacted them through the website inquiring about puppy "Winter". An email was sent to me with all information. Paid $550 through Zelle to [email protected]. Then the problems started with the transportation. Wanted $900 more dollars for a special crate, that was supposed to be refundable when I picked puppy up at airport. I talked to their carrier, Route Shippers, who has no website or company name on voice mail, and they said they needed special crate also. Said he had the puppy there now waiting. I asked for a pict and he wouldn't send one. I asked what airline he was using and he said Delta. I then called the airport and they informed me that Delta halted animal transportation in April and has not yet resumed. I called back the carrier and questioned him on this and he got very angry at me and then hung up. I called the breeder and he did the same. Both people had middle eastern accents. I went back to website and did an image search on Winter. The pup's photo showed up on over 250 other websites, meaning it was a stock photo. I have been trying to contact breeder for a refund and am not receiving a response back.
