Type of a scam Utility
Three young individuals knocked on my door (a tall black male, a tall white Russian female, and a dark brown male) offering a government program called Assurance Wireless Unlimited. They handend me a package that include a phone, and the phone's charger and I qualify for this phone because I have MediCal. They asked me for my California ID and my MediCal card to comfirm my identity and inputed into their tablet to see if i qualified. They began questioning me about my ethnicity, my parent ethnicity, and how much I made weekly. They mentioned that they got paid $1,000 weekly and they were all trying to become managers. I started to get suspicious and refuse the service. They started to harrass me and pressuring me to sign up for the service. They said that they know my address and that they will come back every week until i agree. I closed my door. But regret having given them my identity information and fear that i will get my identity stolen.
