I was trying to renew my TSA PreCheck, and somehow got on a site that appears to be the TSA, but is not. The renewal should have been $85, they charged me $225. The renewal did go through. They paid the TSA $85 and kept the rest. They changed my phone number and email address that were associated with my account with the TSA. They have my credit card number, contact info, and I honestly don't remember if they have any other important info like my passport number. I realized the problem when the charge came through on my credit card and it was from Brazil. TSA confirmed this is a known scam. Universal Enroll is the only legitimate organization to handle enrollments and renewals!

Went to apply for a TSA recheck and after filling out form a government agency pops up to collect the money. We are out 142.00 I am so upset. It looks so legit. We are going to have to cancel this card. Plus, when we asked for a refund, they gave us a return response that they would refund the money and never did. I hope the government catches them. They are criminals.

Went to renew my TSA Pre number. Their website pops up at the top of Googles search list. Filled it out, sent in card info, then realized they are NOT the TSA. This is a scam. Immediately called my CC company and cancelled the transaction, and asked for a new card.

The site duplicated the TSA precheck government run site and had me complete my passport and personal info plus billing credit card info, and turns out to be a scam site. It appeared first in my Google search for “TSA precheck renewal” and even had the words “us” in the URL.

Their website popped up as soon as I searched for renewal for global entry. I filled in the information. entered my Credit card details and they sent me an email to click on a link as further information was required... I did that and entered my passport address etc... and then I received another confirmation email with spelling errors... That alerted me. I immediately called my CC company to cancel my card. I feel so stupid when I know better..

I needed to review my TSA Traveler Number and did not pay attention to the link I chose. This fake website walks you through the same questions with the exception of asking for your passport number. It then wants payment of ~200 to renew. It immediately processes your payment under a different name. I was lucky that my bank caught it and immediately suspended my account.

Same as above in that I have passed all my personal info and credit card info. It was the first option on Google when trying to renew my TSA pre check status, so like a dummy I assumed it was the right one. Out $225 and probably much more as all my personal information was in that :(

Seeking TSA precheck application and this site popped up in browser. Simple form, looked legit. There were a few red flags, for instance, you couldn't actually schedule an appointment with TSA, just select a date. Realized my mistake after paying $140. Refund policy says you can request refund before application is submitted, so I did right away. No contact information for company and shows up on CC as Brazil. So far, three days later, no response, no email, no confirmation but my credit card was charged.

I thought I was re applying for TSA precheck but ended up using a fake website that was modeled after the US government website. They sent a follow up email requesting more information that did not seem appropriate (such as the make model and year of my car, the VIN number, etc). At this point I revisited the website and realized I did not use the correct government website to do my TSA pre.
