Type of a scam Employment
Human Resource person of Aspire Transportation Network (logistics company) found me on an online job search site and acted as an employer. Her email was [email protected] Back in April 2016, I thought I was training for a real job at Aspire Transportation Network as a project manager. My job was suppose to be in direct touch with custom authorities, insurance companies, and many other organizations on a daily basis. To avoid delays at customs, it was my job to see that all taxes and port charges are paid on times and in strict accordance with the terms of the contract. The main headquarters were in London and had an office in New York. They were really convincing and had a website (aspiretn.com) now the website is in Russian I think along with a training dept. and human resources. Since, I did well on my first test I got to participate in a project. I used my credit card to purchase Apple gift cards and I thought I was using their checking account and routing numbers with JP Morgan Chase to apply $6,554 to my credit card to pay for the cards and that is how my credit card went over the limit and I'm in this mess. I even did a phone interview with them. The so called manager didn’t even ask for personal info, so I thought it was a real job. I could work from home or they would pay to relocate me. The manager would send me study packets each day for 4 weeks, each week had a test. They said there was 2 stages in training. After I passed the 1st stage, I would move on to 2nd stage and go to New York for training with all expenses paid. They emailed me saying a check in the amount of $4,000 was being mailed to me after I finished the 4th test, before the final exam. I never received check. I wasted 5 weeks thinking this was an actual job.
