I was contacted by this company for employment and was asked to conduct a text messaging-only interview via Skype. I was then told that I was hired after the supposed interview process. From there I was given fake tasks to accomplish in order to onboard the training process. Then I was given a "company check" to purchase supposed equipment but the addresses on the check were mismatched. Since I wasn't able to figure out this was a scam I, unfortunately, deposited the check into my personal bank account and was told by my quote on quote manager to send their "vendor" 200 dollars via the Zelle application. After the check bounced I lost 200 dollars and it made my bank overdraft and I had to pay out-of-pocket fees to get my account back to good standing. Once I made the "manager" aware of this they blocked me on Skype and never contacted me again.
