Sent me a check and when I called their back to verify the account the account doesn't exist.

I was contacted through LinkedIn to work as a secret shopper. I received a fake cashier check in the amount of $3,450.42 and was asked to keep $450 for myself and purchase gift cards for the rest. They also contacted me over text message. When I attempted to call back it was a Google Voice account.
