Call from number with no caller ID, left vm with case number. The person they were looking for is my husbands ex-wife. Msg stated there is pending action and complaint will be filed, they left 844-364-8469 to call back. I call back, explain they have the wrong number but that I want to know how they got mine. Man was very rude and demeaning, yelled and laughed at me. Told him I wanted to speak with his mgr, he said "you can say whatever you want but I'll still be sitting here tomorrow". After multiple times of him saying the mgr wasn't available and I persisted with speaking with someone, he claimed he was sending me to the CEO. After call I did some research on Ashford Counsel Partners and see many scamming complaints logged against them and people stating the harassing nature of the calls.

A gentleman by the name of *** *** called me on my personal cell phone on 04/17/17. He stated that he is Ashford Counsel Partners and that he wanted to discussed a compliant they were going to file against my father Agustin Martinez. After getting the approval from my father to discuss the situation, I was advised by *** who he was with and who he worked for. He advised me that they were about to sue my father for $34,538.09 for a debt he owed for a vehicle that was repossessed several years ago. I attempted to settle this account and the balance dropped from $34,538.09 to $3,248.10. However, he demanded that I needed to pay for this amount at that moment. There was no time to think about it or anything. He was rude, threatening, and intimating. I was not able to find anything regarding this company and every number he called from was either blocked or different. There is no website or anything in the BBB.
