My history is much the same as the story above. I had problems installing my HP Laser Jet Pro. I called the number provided by the HP website . The HP rep could not complete my installation and referred me to ASAP Data Systems, Inc. Yes, they installed my printer/scanner. This begun a several year "protection" of my computer at a large dollar cost. Every time they contact me to inform me a new virus, they discover various intrusion on my IP address that require a new upgrade level of protection at a significant cost.

I am now raising concern since the previous review states that HP would never transfer to a third party like ASAP Data Systems. I should have contacted HP.

I, like the previous review, would like to know if this is a scam.

my new software would not load on my computer and the message on the computer was to call number - when I did they told me my computer was WI FI hacked by many international countries. They could fix my problem and wanted my checking account number - I said no and gave a credit card number - I cancelled the charge.
