I contacted him about buying a French Bulldog puppy that he said was available on his Instagram. Everything was set up I sent him a deposit through Cashapp and we set up a time and date for me to drive down to LA from SF to pick the puppy up. Once I got to the address he gave me I texted him and he said his wife would be right out and I waited and waited. I tried calling and texting him, but he wasn’t answering. I tried to DM him on his Instagram only to find that he blocked me on everything so I couldn’t contact him. When I asked around the neighborhood, they said no one lived there with that name and no one even had dogs there. When I attempted to resolve the issue with Cashapp, they refused to help me and told me to contact him directly. When I got a hold of him, he said he would only give me my money back if I helped him verify his Cashapp account. He wanted me to set up withdrawals and deposits for bitcoin on his Cashapp account. He tried to get me to put my own information in, but I refused. When I tried to report him to Cashapp for trying to convince me to put my information into his account, they completely disregarded me and basically told me they could help me with anything that was not involved with this case.
