On Aug 10 (approx.) I purchased a new laptop from Best Buy. I brought it home and started setting it up by downloading and installing software that I had purchased for my old computer that had a hard drive crash the day before. I then started downloading my data files from my cloud backup account with Cubby (Logmein.com software). This process took several hours because the size and volume of the data files.

The following morning I woke up to a screen that I had never seen before warning me of a warning a Trojan software called Koobface. The screen provided me with an 800 number to call to get rid of the software.

By the end of the call my girlfriend and I had spent $960.00 to rid our PC’s of this virus which included a support plan for 2 years.

Last month I called them and told them there was a problem with my pc and wanted them to resolve the specific issues. They wanted to charge me additional money to resolve the issues; when I refused to pay more money they fixed the computer anyway.

This morning (10/30/15) I was awakened by a call from them saying that someone has hacked into my pc. When I got to my pc I did find someone was remotely accessing my pc. I was told that the hacker had accessed my Amex account and had my ID, PW, and CCV #.

They offered to fix it for another $3,000, which could be discounted to $1,500. At this point I disconnected my pc from their online access and got the Geek Squad to take a look at my computer to see if anyone else could access my PC remotely.

Went to xfinfity.com and a phone number was listed, so I called it as I thought it was associated with xfinity. The person claimed I had Trojans, highly infected with viruses and malware. They told me that they cupd fix this was access to my computer. I had a feeling that something was not right but the guy insisted I was infected. They had me fill out a page that at the bottom was a digitally signed agreement and also had blank check at the bottom. They said it would cost 199.99 and a guarantee for a year that i would not have to worry about any infections Etc. I foolishly feel for all the stuff he was saying and after giving info about my checking account the guy said he would call me back in about 45 mn to let me know everything had been taken care of. I was very curious about this co. so I went and read reviews. SCAM written al over it. I immediately disconnected my WiFi shut down computer and called my bank. They put a hold on my checking account tso it could not be used. This began on the 28th of Oct. the person I talked to at the bank said it had not processed nor pending. When I went to my computer this am I saw that they had somehow process the check so the old account is in the negative of 199.99. I have spoken to the bank this morning and they are filing a claim, even the Manager of the bank called me. This Co. is a total scam I have no idea what if anything they have put on my computer all I know is I have much work to do to change all my accounts. There was loud noise in the background and several rounds of people clapping.. I hoe no one else will be as gullable as I was and hope people read the reviews. Most importat DO NOT DEAL WITH this Co.

This was not an in person scam. It was a pop up that was sent to me on my computer to call their 1-855-999-7012 phone number to help me solve the malware-blue screen-pop up on my laptop. I was searching a company called "final.com". When I hit return, this blue screen appeared and would not let me know out of it until I called the 855 number which linked me to the company called Arieana. I looked it up on my phone to see it was a credited ScamPulse.com customer and proceeded to call the number. I spoke to one man first and he gave me no specific pricing to help solve my problem. I asked him a few questions about his company. He told me he was Mac certified and to look it up because they were part of the BBB. He asked me a few questions (i gave him no personal information) about what had happened and sent me to his website so that he could gain control of my computer and see what was on my screen. Once he had viewing control, he said "I am going to transfer you to someone whom can now provide more in depth tech support and solve your problem with the malware". I asked him about price at that point and he could not give me any specific information.

I got transferred to another guy and within one minute he rambled on about how I do NOT have Apple Care (which turns out i DO) and how it would cost me $500.00 to get fixed or my computer would get wiped out. I told him I am not paying $500 and he offered me $200 less. I told him I was going to disconnect with him and walk up the street to the Apple store because I thought he was a joke and probably trying to steal my credit card info. He told me if I disconnected that my computer would be wiped out. What a joke. I called Apple Care and the guy ran through my entire system for malware and downloaded software. Apple Care fixed it and that entire "POP UP" was a scam. This company should be shut down. It is a scam and not right that they are doing that to people. Go test it....type in final.com and see if you get the blue screen and then follow the steps by calling the 855 number they give you and see if you have the same experience.
