I received a call from a rep of the company by the name Jeff Rossi stating he was in the process of filing a court order on behalf of Advance America and that I could settle over the phone with a payment. After he provided me with the supposedly acct number for advance America I provided my debit card info for payment. After making the payment i called advance America and was advised the acct number was incorrect and that I was scammed. I called him back and he was then very rude and stated he could care less about my money and hung up. I contacted the FTC and reported a fraud alert to all three credit bureau’s.
