Hello,

I originally bought a dress from Arealook that looked like wonderful quality online, when the dress arrived this was made out of very cheap, poor quality material. I have been emailing with this company since the end of May and they are still refusing to give me a refund though directly on their website they list their refund policy. https://www.arealook.com/pages/return-exchange Today I received this message from them:

As for the item you received, we suggest that you keep the item and we can refund $8 or offer $11 cash coupon to you as compensation.

Cash coupon equals to cash. It is convenient to buy other items in our website in future.

This company is a complete SCAM and they are not allowing me to get reimbursed. I have opened up a claim with Paypal also since that is how I paid for this dress. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS AWFUL, INTERNATIONAL COMPANY!

I saw an ad for a dress on Instagram. It had a size chart which I used to order a larger size since it was not American standard. The dress arrived and was too small. I contacted Arealook and they offered to reimburse me $10 for an item that cost me $43 with S&H. I declined. They sent an email telling me very specifically how to return the item and suggested I use the USPS. I did exactly as they suggested and got a Ceritified tracking #; then I emailed them the data as requested. No refund. I filed a complaint with PayPal. My tracking # wasn't showing that it had arrived at the address and was advised by PayPal to file a claim with USPS. The next day I received a call from the Los Angeles post office and was told that this company receives 100 returns a week. They get so many that the USPS has a bin they throw all the packages in to make one delivery. They tracked down the date my package was delivered with the other items in the bin that day. This company shows Hong Kong in their contact information. They make it as difficult as possible to retrieve your money and offer a small portion for those that aren't as tenacious as I am. This is robbery and needs to be stopped.

I have ordered something from their website (that was advertised on Instagram and also Facebook) and two weeks later I was trying to find out where my money went because I did not receive anything from them. A "Molly.wu" responded to my email saying that the item I paid for is not available at this time but I can order something else if I want. I asked to cancel the order, on their website again, and I never got a confirmation for this. Trying to contact them again the "contact us" link doesn't take me anywhere because the captcha code is not working or reloading.
