I was on Craigslist location Atlanta searching for job opportunities within my city and found a opportunity for a work from home position for Customer service representative for a charity called AREALCHANCE.ORG which is connected with UNITEDHOPEFUND.COM and sent them my resume and they're interested in pursuing me for future employment. I fully researched both websites and companies , no negative feedback whatsoever. Then I was asked to complete a phone interview with a recruiter specialist and scheduled which time I would be available to complete it . Which went successful as well . Then I was asked to complete a background check and I would have to pay for service of it which was 10 dollars I got a little more skeptical and contacted human resources about my hesitation and they stated the only reason I'm obligated to pay is because if I don't pass my background check the funds and time would be wasted on my end and not theirs . Than they said that would could back in 5 to 7 days it took 12 days and then I sent a followup email . Then they said it was successful and then to determine my pay scale I was asked to complete a short assessment and then that would come back in 3 to 5 days . That took almost another 2 weeks with 3 follow up emails . Finally I went to check my last email and it stated that the carrier I was emailing apparently left or blocked me or it just couldnot prove the conversation. Then I emailed them again after that and asked them to remove ALL of my personal information from there records I did not wish to continue the opportunity and I would like to speak with someone over the phone about this and possibly would like a refund. And they said if I don't want to continue that's fine but I will not recieve any refund . I am very disgusted. They're still posting ads and I will like u to please further investigate both charities also I contacted the founders and board of directors of the charities on facebook before my background check to assure this was a legitimat d*** *** charity . Her name was ki*** *** and his name was
