I received a check for $2850.00 drawn on Citizen Bank of 3007 50th St., Lubbock, TX 79413 plus a letter with directions. I was to go to Walmart, Walgreen, Target, or Bestbuy to purchase American Express money cards out of $2500. I would make the $350. I was instructed to take pictures of the front and back of cards and to text to (202) 384-6168.

The letter is a rough copy and the check is cut sloppily. No one should fall for this scam, as you are told to deposit into your bank. If completed, the person would be responsible for this money to their bank.
